Ready to put a boot in your ass, Toby Keith is invading Rock Band's online music store. This week's SpongeBob SquarePants-tastic songs haven't even been released yet and already we know what the future holds. Apparently there were just too many rockin' weeks in a row (what with Pearl Jam's Ten, Stevie Ray Vaghan's Texas Flood and so on), because Toby Keith is coming in to bring back to the Top 40 Country! Like him or not (I personally don't, but that's just me), his six-pack will hit next week and give my favorite music game a series jolt of diversity. Songs will include "Should've Been a Cowboy," "I Love This Bar," "Beer for My Horses," "She's a Hottie" among others. Are these his big hits? How should I know, I tuned out the moment he started attacking the Dixie Chicks.
But you didn't come here to listen to me rail against the Broken Bridges star. Next week's Toby Keith six-pack will run you $9.99 (around $1.67 per song) or you can buy them individually for the standard $2. They will be available on the Xbox 360 come April 7th and the PlayStation 3 on April 9th. According to my Toby Keith-loving friend, this is a diverse mix of some of his greatest hits. Not sure what that says about me since I can't place a single one of the songs, but when it comes to modern country music the worst thing you can do is listen to me.
Oh, and don't forget ... both Journey and Pat Benatar are schedule for tomorrow, so there's still plenty of rockin' to do before Toby's big ego takes up all of the room. Below you will find the complete song list for this six-pack, feel free to leave comments letting me know how wrong I am about Toby Keith!
