The Superstars and Managers of WWE Legends of Wrestlemania

THQ can't be happier about their lock on the WWE brand and their not letting the licensing rights go to waste with their upcoming game WWE Legends of WrestleMania. Along with the rights to all of the current roster of WWE superstars THQ got the rights to use all the by gone superstars and managers from back in the day. They just released a list of who to expected. Here's a little sample:
-Andre The Giant
-Big Bossman
-Brutus Beefcake
-Bret Hitman Hart (my personal favorite)
-Honky Tonk Man
-Hulk Hogan
-Junkyard Dog
-Undertaker

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. - February 23, 2009 - THQ Inc. and JAKKS Pacific, Inc. today announced the official roster for WWE® Legends of WrestleMania®, the much anticipated new videogame property based on World Wrestling Entertainment®.  Featuring more than 40 legendary Superstars and managers, along with arcade style gameplay and historic, vintage presentation, WWE Legends of WrestleMania is scheduled for release on March 24, 2009 as a precursor to WrestleMania® 25, which takes place on April 5^th in Houston, Texas.  WWE Legends of WrestleMania is planned for release on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system.

About WWE Legends of WrestleMania

WWE Legends of WrestleMania will embrace the leading sports entertainment organization’s rich history to relive, rewrite or redefine the definitive elements of WWE from the Eighties and Nineties.  Players will experience the entertaining lives of 40 larger-than-life Legends and have control over Legendary Managers, each of whom will play crucial roles in match outcomes.  The game’s new grapple-based fighting system will capture the high-energy action and drama seen in vintage WWE matches, while a historically accurate representation of past WWE telecasts will set the stage, including dynamic visual treatments, signature ring entrances and notable venues.  WWE Legends of WrestleMania will also include a WrestleMania Tour Mode that allows players to participate in key matches from multiple WrestleMania events; a Create-a-Legend system to develop the Legends of tomorrow; as well as connectivity with WWE SmackDown® vs. Raw® 2009, which will enable owners of both videogames to match up Legends with the Superstars of today.  In addition, online functionality will allow players to compete on the biggest stages in WWE history.
