Remember when we all thought that
Age of Conan was going to be a bit hit and finally take a bite out of
World of Warcraft? Well it looks like that's not going to happen as GI is
reporting that subscriptions for the MMO have dropped below 100,000 and the company took an operating loss of $23.3 because of the failure of the MMO to bring in subscribers. Funcom's CFO Olav Sandes has fallen on the proverbial sword and resigned from the company. I'm interested to see what Funcom does with the property as the game reviewed ok and they are still hard at work on the Xbox 360 port of the game.
