Iwata Asks about the DSi

Nintendo's soft-spoken CEO, Satoru Iwata, has been doing a series of Q&A's for a while called "Iwata Asks." They're usually conversation transcripts between Iwata-San and a development team, highlighting the ups and downs of a certain project.  The latest session concerns the DSi, the new hardware iteration of the DS.  More sessions will be released in the weeks leading up to the DSi's April 5th launch.  The DSi will retail for $170, and so far I'm not sure if it's worth the scratch to upgrade from the excellent DS Lite.  Check the press release for more details and a link to the Q&A.

Nintendo announces a new online series of "Iwata Asks" sessions covering a topic that is sure to be hot for the video game industry in 2009: Nintendo DSi.  The first installment of the Nintendo DSi series runs today and features a discussion with the hardware development team. The Nintendo DSi system will be available in the U.S. on April 5, 2009.
