Apple updates iPhone/iPod Touch firmware

It looks like Apple has updated to firmware version 2.2.1 for both the iPhone and iPod Touch. Unfortunately, there were not any new items added, just a handful of fixes predominately aimed at Safari stability, images received through mail and skipping of ALAC files (Touch only). Here is the list directly from Apple:

iPhone/iPhone 3G Update:
-- Improved general stability of Safari
-- Fixed issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll

iPod Touch update:
-- Improved general stability of Safari
-- Fixed issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in Saved Photos
-- Fixed issue that caused some Apple Lossless (ALAC) audio files to skip during playback
