With Cryptic, makers of
Champions Online, being snatched up by Atari, how would Take Two handle the situation since they were going to publish the super hero MMORPG. Well,
Gamespot is reporting that Take Two is indeed going to drop the rights to publish the game with Atari's acquisition of the company. So will this have any effect on the release date which is sometime in 2009? As a developer, I'd say no but you know how politics can cause unnecessary delays in software development.
